Please remember that there may not be students for every stop and the driver has no control over traffic, so the shuttle could run early or late to stops.


Students at NLC Elementary, had an assembly to kick start the Kids Heart Challenge! They are raising money for the American Heart Association with a school goal of $3000.
Join us in learning about heart health and raising funds to protect all hearts – especially other kids’! By using the link below, you can get registered today & start collecting life saving donations. Each participant that raises $50 or more will receive a cool shirt and earn the opportunity to have an ice cream social at school. This event lasts until March 6th.

NLC Junior High Track will begin practice on Wednesday, February 28th. Practice will last until 5:15 everyday and an activity bus will be provided. NLC track will be for 6th - 8th grade students.

We want to remind you of our much-anticipated "Donuts with Dad" event is happening this Friday, February 23rd. It's a wonderful opportunity for bonding and creating lasting memories with your child.

This morning prior to school, a medical emergency occurred in close proximity to North Lyon County Elementary school off of school property. NLC staff responded to provide medical assistance to an individual adult. No NLC students or staff members were in any danger. Our thoughts are with the individual and their family. Thank you.

Individual Medalists:
Freshman, Cole Gerleman, 3rd place (113 lb.)
Sophomore, Leo DeDonder, LEAGUE CHAMPION (126 lb.)
Junior, Logan Schlimme, LEAGUE CHAMPION (150 lb.)
With additional help from Tripp Stormont, Gus Phillips, Cameron Hagemann, & Tyler Robinson the team finished in 5th place.

Mrs. Lang's 1st graders enjoyed a visit from an aerospace engineering major from ESU. He brought backpacks to show us the difference in how a weight feels on Earth, Mars, and the moon.









NLC Elementary students celebrated the 100th day of school with various fun activities.







NHHS FFA Meats and Agronomy teams attended ECD competitions yesterday. Meats placed 3rd with Cheyenne Paige 9th individually. Agronomy was 1st B-team with Cole Gereleman 10th, Cameron Hagemann 9th, Cooper Woodrow 4th, Hayden Saunders 2nd, and Jacob Merrill 1st
