USD 251 has recently been awarded a Kansas Preschool Pilot (KPP) grant totaling $78,000 for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This is the third consecutive year that our district has been awarded this competitive grant. The three year total of the awards is about $274,000. Between the state aid generated by the qualifying students and the KPP grant, the Early Learning Center's four year old preschool program has been fully funded.
