Students in K, 1st, and 2nd enjoyed winter themed activities in mixed groups today.
The preschool visited the elementary cafeteria today to make sugar cookies.
A cell phone was found at the elementary concert this evening. It will be in the elementary office tomorrow morning
3rd-5th grade winter concert was outstanding. Their voices filled the gym with joy.
We had a packed house for the K-2 concert with standing room only. Great concert.
The Preschool also participated in the holiday spirit week!

FCCLA is hosting a Murder Mystery Dinner on January 6th at 6:30. Teams of 2 need to RSVP. Money can be collected at the event. Cash or a check made out to Northern Heights. Meal provided.
The preschool class was having a blast jumping in a pile of leaves today during recess. It was an excellent source of movement and activity that stimulates the sensory system.

Congratulations to the Northern Heights Scholars Bowl team who finished in Second place this evening at the Council Grove meet. Team members include Oliver Sheeley, Liam Wilson, Jonathan Marcotte and Jacob Merrill.
Mrs. Richmond and Mr. Blair's Physical Science classes are working on their Rube Goldberg projects this week. They are engaged in building devices to demonstrate an understanding of simple machines and physics concepts. They will be presenting their projects on Monday, December 18th.
Preston, Cooper, and Leo are working hard to collect shoes! We're still accepting donations, so please send shoes to NHHS or contact one of the boys for a pick up!

The Preschool was taking advantage of this nice weather today!
Under the direction of Mr. Reist, the 6th-12th grade bands and choirs put us in the holiday spirt with sounds of the season. The performances were enjoyed by all in attendance.
Students are doing amazing things throughout the communities. This past weekend we had a group of students help work the spaghetti dinner in Admire. Also this week we had three students show up and help at the Americus Methodist Church.
