USD 251 NORTH LYON COUNTY DISTRICT OFFICE
Located in downtown Americus, the District Office hosts the Superintendent, and other staff responsible for the roles of Finance, Human Resources, Transportation, Food Service, Curriculum Coordination, Staff Training, etc. While not housed at the District Office, other district level personnel are responsible for Special Education, Facilities & Maintenance, and Technology. Board of Education: North Lyon County USD 251 is overseen by a local Board of Education, elected by voters within the district boundaries. Elections for school board take place in the fall of odd numbered years, and newly elected officers take office the following January.
